Orders

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, if the product has not been dispatched, order can be cancelled or changed within 24 to 48 hours of purchasing it by contacting our customer services at support@tech-syndicate.com or by submitting a returns request form using our returns center. Unfortunately, once the item has been dispatched a cancellation will not be possible.

What do I do if my order hasn't arrived?

If your order hasn't arrived within the expected delivery time, please contact our customer service team by directly emailing us at support@tech-syndicate.com or by completing our contact form, and we'll investigate the delivery problem. We’ll resolve your issue as a priority! You can either get a refund or we can ship a replacement of the missing item/s.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover and Maestro). We additionally offer other secure payment methods such as Paypal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. 

Returns

What is your returns policy?

Tech-Syndicate offers a full money-back guarantee for all purchases made on our store. If you’re not satisfied with the product that you have purchased from us, we will provide a full refund no questions asked. A full reimbursement can be provided within 45 days since the purchase of the item. Unfortunately, after the 45-day period you will no longer be eligible and won't be able to receive a refund. Therefore, we encourage our customers to try the product in the first four weeks after their purchase to ensure it fits their needs. Please refer to our Shipping and Returns page for more information.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?

In the unlikely event that goods you received are damaged or the wrong item is delivered, we will resolve the issue as a priority. Please send us an email as soon as possible to support@tech-syndicate.com with photographic proof of the damages (to the products and the condition of the outside packaging). Alternatively, complete and submit a return request by using our returns center. You can either get a refund or we can ship a replacement of the damaged items from your order.

Can I return an item purchased on sale?

Yes, sale items can be returned according to our standard returns policy.

How long does it take to process a return?

Returns are processed within 1-5 business days after we receive the returned item. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 5 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@tech-syndicate.com or by using the contact form.

What are your shipping options?

We offer Free Royal Mail First Class (24h to 48h) shipping on most products posted within the UK. Depending on the parcel weight and size we will additionally use other shipping providers such as Evri and Yodel. Please visit our Shipping and Returns page for further details on express postage and International Shipping. 

How do I track my order?

Once the order is shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking information. The parcel status can be checked by using our Tracking Page. The parcel's tracking number received by email will be required to check the status of the order. If parcel tracking was not selected during checkout the email used to place the order and the order number received could be used instead.

Unfortunately, we are an online-only store, which allows us to offer competitive prices and a wide selection of products.

How do you handle customer complaints?

We take our customers feedback seriously, any complaints are addressed promptly and we will take the necessary measures to ensure the same issue does not occur again. Please contact our customer service team at support@tech-syndicate.com with any complaints, and we'll address them as soon as possible. 

What are your customer service hours?

Our customer service team is available from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. However, Chip our AI assistant will be available 24h a day for any enquires made outside the office hours mentioned above. Chip has been trained against all our site data, therefore it will be able to answer most common questions related to provided services and products without issues.

All our orders packaging is made of envionmental friendly materials such as D2W oxo-biodegradable plastics, cardboard postal boxes and paper tape. 

Why paper tape?

Using kraft paper tape over plastic tape offers several benefits from an environmental and sustainability perspective:

Eco-Friendly: Kraft paper tape is made from natural wood fibers, making it biodegradable and compostable. It breaks down naturally without harming the environment, unlike plastic tape which can take hundreds of years to decompose.

Reduced Carbon Footprint: Since kraft paper tape is made from renewable resources, it has a lower carbon footprint compared to plastic tape, which is derived from petroleum.

Recyclable: Kraft paper tape can be easily recycled along with other paper products, contributing to a circular economy.

Strength and Durability: Despite being eco-friendly, kraft paper tape is strong and durable, providing excellent adhesion and tear resistance. It's suitable for various packaging needs, from lightweight items to heavier parcels, which will ensure orders are securely packed during their delivery process. 

Why D2W over compostable plastics?

Although both Compostable and D2W(oxobiadegradable) plastics have their own environmental benefits we think d2w plastics offer a more versatile and natural degradation process, making them suitable for a wider range of disposal environments. Compostable plastics, while effective in industrial composting facilities, require specific conditions that unfortunately are not always available in natural settings.

Biodegradation Process:

d2w Plastics: These are designed to degrade through a process initiated by oxygen and UV light, breaking down into smaller fragments and then biodegrading into natural substances like water, carbon dioxide, and compost. This process can occur in various environments, including landfills and oceans1.

Compostable Plastics: These require specific conditions found in industrial composting facilities to break down, such as high temperatures, humidity, and the presence of microorganisms. They do not degrade as effectively in natural environments like oceans or landfills2.

Environmental Conditions:

d2w Plastics: Can degrade in a wider range of environments, making them more versatile for different disposal scenarios.

Compostable Plastics: Need controlled composting conditions, which are not always available, limiting their effectiveness in reducing plastic pollution in less controlled environments.

Timeframe:

d2w Plastics: The degradation process can vary but is generally faster in environments with higher oxygen levels and UV exposure.

Compostable Plastics: Typically take longer to degrade in natural environments due to the lack of specific conditions required for composting2.

Human Intervention:

d2w Plastics: The degradation process is more natural and does not require human intervention.
